General/Additional Admission Requirements

It is necessary to meet the general admissions requirements for admission to most academic programs offered by the university. Several academic programs have additional requirements for admission. First-year freshmen applicants may be admitted to the university as an undeclared major, in Exploratory Studies, if admissible to the university but not admissible to the desired major choice(s).

International Student Admission Requirements

The following policy statement is applicable to undergraduate and post-baccalaureate applicants who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents with international education credentials or foreign nationals holding a temporary visa permitting permanent residence in the U.S.

Although U.S. citizens and permanent residents who completed their education outside the U.S. must demonstrate sufficient English proficiency (TOEFL), they are required to meet the academic requirements for U.S. citizens. All international first-year freshman applicants are highly recommended to submit SAT or ACT test scores to fulfill the English language Proficiency requirement.
