Admission

   Application deadlines can be found on line at Admissions under the application process for your specific admission status: freshman, transfer, international, or graduate.
Enrollment  
Begins November 7, 2014 -  For enrollment periods by classification, please visit the Enrollment Schedule web page. Student-specific enrollment appointment will be posted the the myUH account when the course schedule is made available.
Financial aid applications   Information is available from the Costs and Financial Aid area of the UH website.
Payment and Refund Deadlines   Timing is critical to University payment and refund processes. Please review the information on line at: Student Financial Services.
Graduation Application Deadlines  
Regular Filing Period
Friday, November 7, 2014 - Friday, February 27, 2015
Must apply via myUH account for Spring 2015 graduation with non-refundable fee $25

Late Filing Period         
Saturday, February 28, 2015 - Friday, March 27, 2015
Must apply via myUH account for Spring 2015 graduation with non-refundable fee $50

NOTE:
Dates for the events listed to the right vary by College. Please check with your College as early as possible.		  
  1. Master’s / Doctoral Deadlines
    • submitting final draft of master’s thesis or dissertation to the committee
    • submitting signed original and two copies of approved master’s thesis or dissertation for binding
    • ordering caps and gowns
  2. Commencement / Convocation
    Please see the current UH Commencement Schedule. Information for some Colleges may also be found by searching the UH Events Calendar using “commencement”.
March 2015 24 Tuesday
First day of classes.
  25 Wednesday
Last day to add a class.
  27 Friday
ORD - Official Reporting Day
(4th class day).

Last day to drop a course or withdraw without receiving a grade.

Last day to drop a course without hours counting towards the Enrollment Cap for Texas Residents.
NOTE: Tuition is higher for hours in excess of the cap.
 
April 2015 25 Saturday
Last day to drop a course or with a ‘W’.
May 2015 14 Thursday
Last day of classes.
  15 Friday
Final examination period.
