PHCA 6406 - Drug Use Management/Pharmacy/ Laws and Regulations

Cr. 4. (4-0)
Prerequisite: graduate standing or consent of instructor. This course focuses on the means by which the pharmacy program can fulfill its mission to assure the appropriate prescribing and patient use of drug therapy. Emphasis will be on the responsibilities and role of the pharmacy manager. Laws, regulations and ethical issues involved with the drug use management process will be examined.
