COSC 6303 - Introduction to Numerical Analysis

Credit Hours: 3.0 (Lecture Contact Hours:3; Lab Contact Hours:0)
Prerequisite: MATH 2431 and MATH 3431.
Credit may not be applied toward a degree in computer science. Numerical solutions of non-linear and linear equations, error analysis, ill-conditioned systems; interpolation, numerical differentiation and integration; numerical solutions to differential equations; quadrature, error analysis and stability.
