Prerequisite: GERM 1303 or GERM 1501 or equivalent (placement exam score).
Credit for GERM 1502 may not be applied toward a degree by students who have credit for GERM 1304 . Thorough foundation in structure of the German language concentrating on basic skills of reading, writing, understanding, and speaking German, emphasizing oral proficiency and communicative, interactive language learning. Introduction to the culture of German-speaking countries. Required one-hour computer and video lab session per week.
