GHL 3373 - Event AdministrationCredit Hours: 3.0 Lecture Contact Hours: 3 Lab Contact Hours: 0 Formerly GHL 4355 Prerequisite: GHL 1367 Description This course will provide a deep dive into meetings, events, exhibitions, and conventions (MEEC). Students will learn the steps to event planning including preplanning, theme development, event design, event paperwork, day of on-site logistics, and post event wrap up. Additionally, students will learn risk management, sustainability practices, event technology, and trends. The main goal of this course is to ensure students understand the event planning process. Students will work together to plan and execute an event as part of the course. Repeatability: May be repeated when venue changes.
