Students wishing to apply for the BS Mechanical Engineering Technology/MS Engineering Technology specialization in Mechanical accelerated pathway program must meet the following requirements:

Currently enrolled in Mechanical Engineering Technology, BS
Junior standing and completion of 30 semester hours of College of Technology coursework
Minimum 3.0 GPA over all course work
Minimum 3.25 GPA over all College of Technology course work
Approval from the undergraduate Program Coordinator for Mechanical Engineering Technology
Approval from the graduate Program Coordinator for Mechanical Engineering Technology

Shared Courses

Students may choose up to 6 hours to apply to both the undergraduate and graduate degrees from the approved list:

MECT 6322 - Computer Aided Engineering I Credit Hours: 3.0
MECT 6323 - Applied Heat Transfer Credit Hours: 3
MECT 6345 - Materials Selection for Energy Sources Credit Hours: 3

Note:

Students enrolled in the accelerated program must complete the graduate application process before formal admission to graduate school. The admission committee reviews the entire application when making an admission decision.
