Kathrine G. McGovern College of the Arts > Moores School of Music > Music Therapy, B.M.T.
The Music Therapy program in the Moores School of Music at the University of Houston prepares clinician-researchers to define the scientific connection between music and the human experience. As the health needs of local communities are coming to the forefront, models of care continue to adapt to respond to these needs. Holistic and patient-centered models are emerging as a priority in healthcare delivery. Music Therapy is a cost-effective way for healthcare institutions to bring humanity back to the bedside.
