Geographic Information Systems and Computational Geoscience Certificate

The Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences offers a 16-credit hour certificate that will give undergraduate students knowledge and experience working in geospatial analysis and computational geoscience.

Admission Requirements
This is not a stand-alone certificate. Students must be a declared major in the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences to be eligible, enrolled in one of the following degree programs: - Atmospheric Science, B.S.
- Earth Science, B.A.
- Environmental Sciences, B.S.
- Geology, B.S.
- Geophysics, B.S.
Certificate Requirements
Credit hours required for this certificate: 16 Of all courses attempted in the certificate, no more than three credit hours can have a grade below C-. Required Courses (10 credits)
Elective Courses (choose 6 credits)
Additional Information
Coursework toward this certificate may be used to satisfy course requirements for majors and minors in the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences. |
